Some formulations require the use of preservatives to ensure safety from mold or bacteria due to the use of botanicals, Plants, food, extracts, water or containers that the end user must put their hands into. This product uses an ecocert and cosmos approved preservation system at .5% We currently use the below mentioned systems depending on formula. 
1.Phenoxyethanol and ethylhexlglycerin
2. Sodium Levulinate and sodium anisate
3. Potassium sorbate
4. Fermented radish root ferment filtrate
5. Caprylyl glycol, glyceryl Laurate, glyceryl undecylenate 
We are actively working to find the cleanest possible preservation methods and hurdle technology to ensure 100% safety from harmful growth and bacteria.  All of our water formulas (mists,  toners,  drops) are being reformulated to use 100% natural preservation methods.
